S.T.E.A.M School in a Box

The S.T.E.A.M. School in a Box Program is an innovative initiative designed to bring hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) education to communities in Liberia. Many schools lack the resources, materials, and trained instructors needed to offer engaging S.T.E.A.M. learning experiences, limiting students’ opportunities to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

This program delivers fully equipped, portable “S.T.E.A.M. boxes” containing curriculum, tools, and resources that allow students to engage in interactive experiments, coding, robotics, art projects, and engineering challenges. Alongside the materials, the program provides teacher training and mentorship to ensure that students gain practical skills, creativity, and confidence in S.T.E.A.M. disciplines. By making quality S.T.E.A.M. education accessible, the program empowers students to explore future careers, develop innovation skills, and contribute to their communities’ growth.

Funding this program ensures that students have access to modern, hands-on learning experiences that spark curiosity, build skills, and open doors to opportunities in the rapidly evolving global economy.
