Arts & Storytelling Centers

The Arts and Storytelling Centers are creative hubs where community voices are nurtured, preserved, and celebrated. Our mission is to provide a safe, inspiring space where young people and adults alike can express themselves through art, writing, performance, and digital media.

We believe that stories shape identity and fuel change. By empowering individuals to tell their own stories—whether through painting, poetry, film, or theater—we help them reclaim their narratives, amplify underrepresented voices, and foster cross-cultural understanding between communities in Brooklyn and Liberia.

At the center, participants will have access to:

  • Workshops and Classes in visual arts, music, creative writing, and digital storytelling

  • Mentorship from artists, writers, and community leaders

  • Showcases and Exhibitions to share their work with the community

  • Collaborative Projects that connect Brooklyn and Liberian youth through shared creative experiences

Arts and Storytelling Centers are not just about creativity—they’re about empowerment. Every brushstroke, poem, or performance builds confidence, strengthens cultural pride, and sparks dialogue that leads to lasting community growth.
